Christian Formation

“And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”  (Hebrews 11:24-25)

Around the diocese of Montana, no matter our age, we are all being formed in faith.  As with the earliest Christians, we are formed most profoundly  in the ways that we serve, worship, and give together.   In some corners of our diocese, we find our faith formed as we gather to chop and deliver firewood to neighbors.  In other places, we grow in faith as we open our parish hall each week  to share supper with a local after school club, or to host a free clothing closet.  In every parish in our diocese, we grow in faith as we gather to  hear and respond to Scripture, as we pray together, as we kneel around God’s table to seek guidance, to give thanks, to share in  the Eucharist.

This corner of our website offers a glimpse into some of the intentional ways we open ourselves to be formed by God’s Spirit.  Check out  some of the ministries listed below.
