Join young adults (18-35+ year olds) from the Episcopal Diocese of Montana as we participate in the Taizé Pilgrimage of Trust in St. Louis, an event that invites people of various backgrounds to join together in relationship, worship, and prayer.
Who: Young adults from Montana are invited to participate in our group registration, and to travel with us. We welcome other adults who may be interested in participating. All are welcome at Common Prayer times at the pilgrimage. Workshops and breakout sessions are intended primarily for young adults (those between the ages of 18-35).
When: The St. Louis Pilgrimage of Trust will begin with evening prayer on Friday, May 26th and conclude with afternoon prayer on Monday, May 29th. We will depart on the morning on Thursday, May 25th, and return on the evening of Tuesday, May 30th.
Where/How: We have a group reservation to participate in the pilgrimage. To save your spot, please complete the registration form below. We will drive rented vehicles to and from St. Louis, and will confirm departure times and meeting places once we know where participants are starting from.
What: Each day will be oriented around Common Prayer in the style of the Taizé community (morning, afternoon, and evening). Workshops will be offered in between the prayers. Workshops will be shared on a variety of topics to help foster a deeper understanding of one another and of the core issues which often divide us. Workshops will also focus on areas that unite us, such as scripture, the search for beauty through art and music, service, and more.
Cost: $45/person (including lodging and food in St. Louis). Each individual is responsible to pay for his/her own food during the trip to and from St. Louis
Preparation: In advance of the pilgrimage, participants are encouraged to take part in some activities to grow familiar with the style of Taizé worship and with some of the issues we may discuss. Once you are registered, our team leader with contact you with information about how you may prepare.
